Where in the GTA is this?

MetrolinxBrampton.jpg

In its small resolution, the photo appears to be from somewhere in Europe (Edit: and, it is).

It's so hard to associate the name Metrolinx with Toronto, the flagship transit system. They should have gone with XTC, for "xtended transit commission", or for marketing purposes, "Xtreme Transit Commission". As you might notice, I spent less than 5 minutes without consulting anyone coming up with that. It probably wasn't very different for the real name.

It's in Brampton! The catch is, it's in Brampton, Cumbria, England.

See http://www.thecumbriadirectory.com/...n/images/BramptonSquareandMootHallJulians.jpg or http://www.alphamodelsports.co.uk/shop/tourist_information.jpg

Clearly not the GTA - too many hatchbacks and not SUVs! :) :)

Probably England as well, judging from the very Anglican looking church tower, and the double yellow lines on the road!

Hahaha. That's absolutely hilarious. They obviously Google Image Searched Brampton, too, and nobody noticed that those buildings didn't quite look like the Brampton we know and love!

Oh. My. God.

Unreal!

What next? They find an image of Milton, and we get Milton Keynes?

You know - even the map they show has been stolen.

It's clearly a screen grab off Google Maps - in violation of Google's Terms and Conditions.

You know, an innocent mistake or too is amusing, But it seems that virtually every image on the site is a copyright violation. I'd almost say criminal.
