The problem with highways is that people are not using them in the intended way.

Wide lane highways were built leading up to citys for surburbanites to commutte in. For mid to small size cities, highways are the primary mode of transportation. Its when you start having congestion when cities grow is where you have problems.

I said the argument is pointless, not the issue. Everyone here agrees with each other and is fighting to see who can disprove Mike the bestest.

Scarb,

I think Mike likes to seed our forum with provocative material to get us debating. I for one usually think "awe Mike, what are you thinking". Later after seeing the various points of view I am quite pleased with his material and the resulting dialogue between us friends.

Cheers!

Happy Easter.

^May the bunny be good to you (if that's your thing).

In responding to this supposed "pointless" debate, some of you typically post some rather interesting and informative information.

Or at least some witty comment that cracks me up.

Regardless, UT is one of the most civilized city boards out there.

Choclate eggs to all! (if that your thing).

Biz,

How can anyone be against cute little bunny's and choclate?
