Where should i start looking for a printer/fax/copier for my office...the ones at at Futureshop are very limited. they can only scan 8.5x11. i'm looking for something that is for office use (so i need one that can scan 8.5x14).

any suggestions or recommendations would help. Thanks in advance.

A few options for you.

Go to a Staples store. They have multi-function printers with 8.5x14 photocopy/scanner platform.

Go to brother.ca and look for monochrome laser printer # MFC 8480DN. This printer is a bit bulky. It can copy and scan 8.5x14documents.

I find that only once in a while, I need to scan 8.5x14 document -- may be 3 or 4 times a year. I, first, reduce 8.5x14 document to 8.5x11 and then scan it.

I use a small size Brother printer -- 7820N. It might not be available in the market now. However, similar size printers are available at Staples.

I run an accounting business from my downtown condo.

Have a fairly good idea of the volume of printing/copying you are going to do. Higher volume machines tend to be the units that print a little faster.
