The city planner saw an early conceptual master plan, but no applications just yet. The city planner is hopeful that the LRT will spur a more concrete plan.

This expanse of parking between Robert Speck and Hurontario, as well as the parking garage across the street, pretty much kill this stretch of Hurontario. I hope that can change someday.

Redevelopment of that corner would be great. Hopefully it includes office space and not just residential.

It's too bad that the LRT SQ1 loop was cancelled, because it would have created a new street through the said parcel of land. Plus, it would have fixed up Burnhamthorpe, Living Arts Centre, City Centre. and Rathburn. Drive.

It would also facilitate making the corner the main intersection of the City Centre again.
