Was driving by this site on 16th ave last night and saw that the elevator shafts have been poured. Not big, but a nice bit of infill on 16th. Location is 208 16 Ave NE:

Nice that you found this. I was looking around to try and find out what it was but was not able to find anything. This is far better than I expected.

Yup, I think it's been over a year now, and just the two elevator shafts. In this case slow and steady will work just fine.

A rezoning application for a parcel on Edmonton Trail is going to CPC next week. I know this parcel has been on the market for ages, so hopefully it goes through:

I like it. It's a nice little proposal, and a good fit for the location. It's too bad it wasn't a development that included the parcels to the south of it as well, but for this particular parcel it's a great fit.
I'm undecided about the yellow. It could end up either being really cool, or really bad.. I'm not sure.
