There's something about office buildings that have the 60s aesthetics that draw my attention. It's a strange combination of modernism and old school office environment.

I recall the lobby smelling like dairy as late as the 1980s. Hopefully whatever cornice was once up there will be reinstated someday.

That building desperately needs its cornice reconstructed. Always bothered me to see that strip of cheap corrugated metal scarring it. And get some central A/C in there while they’re at it.

Definitely needs some TLC but also an underappreciated favourite of mine. I've always loved the brick pilasters; can't think of many other examples, details like that were often done on stone (or concrete stone look-alike) buildings.

It's such a joy to see intact - or in this case, partially intact - details on these old commercial buildings. The iron cresting and finials especially, as these bits are often the first to go. Beautiful millwork over the third storey windows as well.
