I don’t know what time of day you are going but you should take them to the Corona LRT station especially the entrance by First Edmonton Place. It can be quite the thing in the evenings with all the disorder there.
It's unfortunately because of the tim's. That section of Corona should have a constant presence at this point.

Yes you’re right. Sort of like the Tim Hortons on 104 Avenue and 110 Street. ☹️

On Sunday I stopped by that Wendys/Tims location for lunch. Instead of seeing MacEwan students, many of the patrons looked like extras from a Mad Max movie. The men's washroom resembled a war zone. I will NOT be going back there for quite a long while, which is a damn shame because I've been there many times in the past. There are other Wendys locations such the U of A or 75 St/Argyll Road.

And the walking path behind there where the train tracks used to be is also quite a scary place to be especially in the evening it is full of homeless people sitting along the trail doing drugs and other things. It used to be such a beautiful space but no longer.

I believe it closes at 9 pm, the problems in the LRT station near the entrance seem to get worse later in the evening.

Not sure if this is directly related, but I do feel there should be more attention to this area of the LRT station especially at this time.

I took the C-Train in Calgary a couple of Saturday nights ago with my 1 year old to grab dinner because we were at the Holiday Inn right across the street from Banff Trail Station. Other than a couple of drunk potty mouth dudes, the train was well utilized in both direction and it felt safe.

I was there for lunch today. Some guy was hollering on the Tim's side, and then there was a thud.... He punched a hole in the wall for no reason.

Quite often there is issues there over lunch. People chasing each other through the building threatening to fight. Guys strung out on something with their pants around their ankles standing in the middle of 104 ave, Guys walking around with huge scissors for no reason. I feel bad for the staff that work there and have to deal with that on a daily basis.
