Plus another 132 units in the building that just started construction in the last few weeks across the street from University Heights (Mckernan Crossing).
That’s almost 1300 units! Seriously impressive.

I truly did not expect this site to be developed in my lifetime and had to walk by it nearly every day for many years.

With south of the river finally getting some residential love, I wonder if we will see a proper hotel built. Whyte ave is the only part of Edmonton that actually feels like a city, and there’s no large chain hotel other than Mettera/varscona in the immediate vicinity

An ALT towards the west end of Whyte closer to the university would do well.
