Without the sun, it makes it look as drab as the office towers next door. I guess it’s still density. Hopefully the blocks around it that will develop in the next decade can at least be higher quality and have more colour than this one. It’s not bad per se, but certainly not good nor great.

Frosted glass on the balconies would have made all the difference. That or nicer shades/colours other than beige and charcoal.

Wondering if we'll see the second tower go up soon. I believe earlier reports said "Fall start".

There are a couple of CLC excavators sitting on the site of Phase 2, makes me wonder, because there doesn't seem like anything else is left to excavate for Phase 1.... 🧐

Looks much nicer with the morning sun or ... not wet or any non-sunny day

Certainly some flattering pictures of this. A rare feat.

I think I'm most offended by the flat charcoal panels on the podium. They really should have stuck with the red brick from the original design.

Two quick and cost-neutral items would have made this much... less bland:
1. Order the frigging balcony glass with the frit pattern in your rendering for god's sakes. (Or just an ombre frit from the bottom (opaque) to the top (clear))
2. The blank spandrels on the end units should have been dark. Maybe not black, but darker. Beige on bluish-white on grey is something my mother taught me not to do when getting dressed when I was eight.

Even better: Face mounted balcony rails, again with the frit pattern. Did these people not get the same deal as Claridge on those balconies with the round pucks on the front?

I can get over the precast, it's supposed to be simple and smoothing. The balconies need to stand out. Right now your architectural details that were so 'carefully thought out' are just mushing together into a blob.
