I really hope they keep the Maple Leaf Gardens signage..
It needs to stay there as a tribute to what the building is.. a hockey palace.

I think I remember reading somewhere that they would maintain/enhance the MLG signage (or maybe I'm dreaming).

hope they retain the imprint of where the stairs of the upper deck was (show in photos) so to reference where things used to be.

one of he workers i talked to said they would keep the old big scoreboard for ryersons rink,not sure if this is news or not...

I wish they would have opted to convert our sacred MLG into an entertainment complex rather than a grocery store; perhaps a movie theatre or a hockey museum that would complement the Hockey Hall of Fame at Yonge and Front. Having said that, at least it does seem that they have gone to some lengths to safeguard the distinguishing features of the original Gardens and to maintain much of the Maple Leaf signage and insignias.
