I work as a ticket seller for GO Transit, and I have had to learn all the former names for many places in the GTA, as I get requested to issue tickets to all these old names. A frequent one is the request for tickets to "Exhibition Stadium" For the most part, they are not referencing BMO Field

It's always has been officially known as Bank of Nova Scotia (it's just currently branded as Scotiabank).

Likewise, CIBC will always be the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (and it's still officially known by its spelled out name).
 
Ha. Good one. Your wife made me giggle. I'm gonna hafta adopt that one. From now on St. Patrick's Market will always be Stork's Chickens for me too.
BTW... the building across the street from Stork's Chickens will always be CITY TV.
 
The JCC will always be the YM-YWHA.
