I heard on the news that Verster grew the number of EVPs from about a dozen to over eighty. What pray tell did we get for this dramatically expanded C-suite?
Inverted pyramid does not even begin to describe all the new VPs, Directors and Senior management types hired at Metrolinx the past few years. A co-worker of mine joked that she was going to apply to be VP of TP, 4 ply for all!

There are 3,307 people on the Sunshine list at Metrolinx https://www.sunshineliststats.com/Employer/9/2024/metrolinxmetrolinx

The $100,000 threshold of 1996 is equal to $181,000 in 2024. There are over 1,500 employees at Metrolinx over this level. Considering that most of the work is designed and built by separate private contractors, what the heck are all these ML sunshiners doing?

Metrolinx isn't serious about providing quality transit to Ontarians. It exisists to provide "cushy" government jobs for friends and insiders.

I have to wonder how often do these "sunshine" employees even show up to the office?

Someone needs to come in and "clean house" Metrolinx.
