Bear Hills has long been a rest stop on the QE2 NB just before the Hwy 13 exit to Wetaskiwin.
BTW a new rest stop has opened on the QE2 SB near Lacombe that used to be a motor inn.

Not sure where to put this, but just south of Edmonton is the new Bear Hills casino that is U/C.
