So that Vacant retail/commercial Building on the east side of 50st and about 95 ave is burning down. Just after the only tenant moved out.

empty lot on east side of 116st between 105 and 106 ave now has a pile driver (driller?), busy on site. anyone know what's happening? they're digging down so doubt it is retail/commercial.

directly across from the Clancey proposal? are there any sort of renders or anything? I'd love to see the original building kept intact, like the metals building at 104th street and 102nd ave; we don't have a lot of these warehouses left, and given that this one can handle being a storage...

Remember going there as a kid and having my mind blown at the time. Can't remember why? Was it so modern and ahead of it's time? Anyway, wonder how long it's been neglected / vacant?
