You can align the site map with the rendered concept to see that there are already major differences...
The construction effort so far seems to be general site servicing and so there are no firm building concepts as yet -- if you want to read the developer's general intent (no specifics) you can check it out here -- https://jldevelopments.ca/wp-conten...nte-at-Clareview-Architectural-Guidelines.pdf It seems as if the General Developer may be parceling specific sites out to other builders.

And while @Platinum107 's discovery was exciting there seems to be no actual relationship between that Site Planner and the Developer and so the foregoing renderings are not much more than eye-candy.

Shoot, that's kinda what I was feeling was going on here ☹️ looks very toned down, but hopefully still better than what currently exists

Couldn’t remember if there was a thread for this specific project or not, but it appears substantially complete and overall a great reno to an older asset. Looks best at night when lit up.

I was in that line at the movie theatre - hard to tell if I'm in the picture, all the dudes had the same haircut apparently. Was also there on opening day for Raiders....
It gets worse

I worked at that theater and was working that day. My manager made me skip school. I was in grade 11. That sure was a fun summer working there during Return of the Jedi. Sold out shows for months. 😀😀😀

Man, there's not much left inside Westmount Mall anymore, but it will be sad to lose Revolver (if they are one of the affected tenants). Not too many shops like that around these days!

Revolver has another location in Bonnie Doon Mall.

I mean what do we think will become of Westmount? It doesn't have the LRT connection that Bonnie Doon has to become a full TOD but it is connected to a transit centre. Any chance we could see some residential, or are we looking at more strip mall sorta fate similar to Capilano?

I remember going to that mall at an early age. It was an open air mall originally. Johnston Walkers, Woodwards food floor, Westmount Kitchen. It lost a lot after they capped the mall. Also the theater was across the road originally.

This is what is happening with Westmount (selective demolition):

Basically, Safeway, Home Depot, Shoppers, Mark's, GYMVMT and Covenant Health are all staying put. The rest of the mall is being opened up so that the CRUs all have exterior-facing entrances. There isn't much new parking being created, which is a good thing. The old Walmart space is being split into two new CRUs as well.
