This is so cool! I wonder what the church space is being used for here, is it part of the units?

I think it's community space, also used by the church. This is a fantastic reimagining of an underused space and a super creative way for a congregation with shrinking attendance to do something useful for their community while maintaining a space to worship and gather. There is an article about this project out there somewhere. I'll post it if I can find it. We need 100 more of these projects.

Oh that's awesome that it's still an operating community space! Churches and other places of worship have some of my favourite forms of architecture, almost hauntingly beautiful at times. If I were to design my own house I'd definitely wanna include a room with a high vaulted ceiling, dark wood, and stained glass haha. Hopefully we see more of these kinds of reuses!

Update on the Affordable Storage building; it's a little hard to spot in the dark, but they're putting glass in that gap that's bordered by the red.

This is east side of 116st and south of 104ave. Was there a project here? I faintly remember…

Or is this just a lay down for the Leston project or LRT?

It was rezoned last February. It's now RL h65.0, so expect a 9-20 storey tower here. I'm guessing Leston owns it. I'm hoping Regency does not.
