Anyone know exactly what's going on at the old attached building south of St. Joseph's Basilica? The development permit says "To construct a Religious Assembly building and exterior alterations (clergy residence with outdoor patio, St. Joseph's Basilica)." Is the 'clergy residence' just a conversion of the existing building?

EDIT: Looking back at old posts, it seems like the answer is no, with the claim being that the existing rectory is not structurally sound to live in. Does anyone have confirmation about whether or not it'll be preserved?
I was in their office a couple of months ago, and they said the building will be demolished unfortunately.

So I saw this a little while ago in the old Bee Bell building on 103 street. Looks interesting, although I wonder if anyone has heard anything about this. I went to their website and it was completely blank. And the render on the banner is obviously just a place holder. I do like the location and I think it would add to the area, especially with the roof top patio.

I know someone who lived in the place, and it is apparently an absolute nightmare of liability and sunken money. I can only imagine how stressful it is for the rest of the owners.

Another giant apartment complex. Gawd forbid it’s not on U of A land cause apparently if we don’t build on U of A land like they are apparently building on U of C land….then it’s not worth building?
