Bad photos, but 4 fences off houses next to an empty lot on University Ave in McKernan.
Not sure what’s planned or if we could be seeing another mid rise.
They own the site at 10323 106 St based on this comment in the former “North” project thread.Hat @ 106, eh? Interesting. That wouldn't be their Strathcona one.
There's an empty lot on Whyte & 106, plus there's lots of empty lots on 106 St downtown.
Is that near this empty lot on University Ave? It seems like it's been empty for a while.

Does anyone know if the current building for École Michaëlle-Jean (the 7-12) near 101 Ave and 83 St is also being demolished and replaced as part of this complex? On the Major Projects website they're listed together: https://majorprojects.alberta.ca/details/Solution-for-École-Michaelle-Jean-Gabrielle-Roy/10933Permit includes demolishing the old school when done.
Looks like it'll be 2 schools (probably 1 building though?); a K-6 with 445 student capacity and a 7-12 with 335 student capacity.
Yes. At least that was the original plan. Both schools will be housed in the new building.Does anyone know if the current building for École Michaëlle-Jean (the 7-12) near 101 Ave and 83 St is also being demolished and replaced as part of this complex? Kind of shame since Gabrielle-Roy has a nice building, but at least the architecture firm they've hired seems pretty good.
That would be a great lot to see filled up, especially if a Massey Ferguson project moves forward too. They own the site at 10323 106 St based on this comment in the former “North” project thread.
So the site on 109th has a Pagnotta sign on it and a drill rig on it as I drove by this morning. Looking forward seeing what's going in there.
Nice to see stuff happening on 109th close to Whyte.

Development Permit for 344-unit conversion was submitted yesterday, it's official now.I can confirm the current owner is looking at a 'full' conversion of CN Tower to residential in the realm of 340 units.
This is one of the best news for DT in a while. Hopefully it can help (and be helped by) Qualico's development plans!Development Permit for 344-unit conversion was submitted yesterday, it's official now.
