hopefully this doesn’t hurt demand for Stationlands tower 2 or the timing of it. 750 units to fill, plus ice district if those ever happen, is a lot for being 2 blocks from the hope mission.
I think that the more residents there are around, the less being two blocks away from the Hope Mission will matter.

Front of the Westin ripped up now.

Gene Dub is proposing a 174-unit student rental building in Boyle Street on 96 Street ('the Armature') south of 103A Avenue across from EPS HQ. Plans on incorporating the facade of the existing brick commercial building:

I'll believe it when it breaks ground, but this would be a great thing to have in the neighborhood (and preserving the façade of that little garage-like building would be an unexpected bonus).

Dub indicated he was going to submit a proposal for student housing incentive funding in The Quarters. If he received funding, it would have to start construction in 2026 I believe?

The city has its priority of warehouse district but I sure would love to see this one move ahead somehow some way.

How accurate...there's a police car in the rendering!

In all seriousness, I like it. Maybe Dub has some $$$ coming his way to get this one off the ground?

Hey Edmonfolks, I was surfing through the Edmonton pages a while back and saw a graphic that showed Calgary and Edmonton's missing middle housing starts relative to the big three metros. I can't for the life of me remember which thread it was in. Hoping someone can help. :)
