I don't think this is the same place Goldie. If I am not mistaken was Yonge renumbered a long time ago?
The 1910 Goad Atlas shows the Y on the SE corner of Yonge & McGill:

They still have a location at Birchmount and Danforth but I can foresee it closing in the near future. They are very overpriced with a very limited selection.
That one would be on Danforth ROAD...not Danforth Ave.

The Canadian "settlement movement" garnered sponsorship from a variety of groups, including postsecondary students, Local Councils of Women, church groups, study clubs and civic associations, as well as individuals who were interested in exploring progressive approaches to social welfare and reform. For example, in 1902 American settlement worker Sara Libby Carson established Toronto's first settlement, Evangelia House, with the support of the Toronto and the dominion YWCAs. Shortly thereafter the secured the patronage of Sir Edmund Osler and a number of his colleagues from among Toronto's wealthy elite, along with the backing of the Toronto Local Council of Women, the University Women's Club, and students, mostly women, at the University of Toronto and at the city's various training colleges for nurses, teachers, deaconesses, musicians, and artists.(34) Initially situated in the predominantly Anglo-Celtic district of Riverdale, Evangelia later moved to a renovated distillery at the corner of Queen and River streets in Cabbagetown, but in 1913 Edith Elwood, Carson's successor, sponsored the creation of the Riverdale Settlement near Evangelia's former neighbourhood east of the Don River.
