See folks, bona fide proof that there are worse transit solution ideas out there than a network of BRT. I feel vindicated.

Come on guys, if you can't think of anything intelligent to say, whether pro or con Monorail, then please don't say it.
I will never understand the aversion to Monorail as its a proven technology {just ask Wuppertal} and is used extensively through out the world. It works great in all climates and is very affordable. Toronto's transit woes will continue if all it can come up with atgrade streetcars or subways that they think have to be tunneled in the burbs. It is this kind of thinking that has slowed Toronto's rapid transit construction to a pathetic crawl. Although they are being built in Japan, Seoul, and Sao Paulo and what do they know about mass transit?................silly me.
Toronto is ready for modern transportation systems(Light Rail). Not pie in the sky gadgetbahnen(Monorails)
Come-on, Torontonians are not ready for any modern world transportation systems yet... not when they are still building new rail express lines using refurbished Rail Diesel Cars,
wtf?
You mean like the lines in Japan that have been around for years or decades and some still receiving expansions/extensions, carry more passengers than whole metro systems, have higher ridership/distance than all but the top 2 or 3 North American systems, and make profits? Yea, those crazy, impractical Japanese. Not pie in the sky gadgetbahnen(Monorails)
Monorails have been around since the 19th century, difference is, Trams are a simple practical solution, monorails are not.What....trams, they been around since the late 19th century.
