Oh how I miss those sexy stylish UQAM students! I used to just sit on those patios enjoying the parading stream of stylish women...so un-Toronto. Although compared to some streets in the area, S-D is rather tame. (Laurier and St Jo's are prime babe watching during "rush hours," with Mont-Royal being insanely busy from 5-9pm.... )

Flar, what's the indie coffee scene like in Mtl these days? For example, Toronto has seen at least 50 new coffee houses open in the past few years--could you possibly take photos of the coffee scene in Mtl?)

There are definitely "good looking girl" cities: Montreal, Prague, New York City, and "not as hot girl cities": Vancouver, Boston, London.

I don't know what it is. It doesn't have to do with worldliness or fashion or ethnic makeup. It's some sort of emergent property.

Maybe I'm missing something because there are a lot of women like that in Toronto. I can't remember the last time I went out and didn't see many attractive women.

If you wanted to walk around the city and take shots of good looking women, you wouldn't have any trouble creating a huge collection.
