Absolutely nothing. The $50-million investment was fully paid for by the telecom providers consortium (Bell, Rogers, TELUS and Vidéotron).
Nothing? That consortium bid higher than that for Toronto, and lost.

STM isn't making any money from this at all?

The networks paid the full capital costs as stated above. Not sure where to find more details. Montreal Gazette mentioned that the networks pay a small fee for using the space in the tunnels.

Cellular coverage now extended throughout the métro network | Montreal Gazette
There was no cost to the STM, which provided some support through co-ordination of work schedules and the loaning of a truck for crews to take through the tunnel. It was the cellular companies themselves that footed the bill for the work, and they are even paying a small fee to the transit authority for continued use of the space.

IIRC, they had a bid from Chicago based Extenet who would pay for the space similar to BAI in Toronto; but that firm was unable to sign any of the 4 telcos (Videotron being the 4th) as clients and dropped the contract.

After that failed, STM gave free access to the 4 telcos for a single combined network (not one installation for each network).

Really! Sounds to me like there's collusion between the big 4 providers. Seems odd that not one would break in either city.

I know right? Really odd that the STM gave access to the big 4 telcos in order to provide transit users with 100% 4G LTE coverage in the Metro. Must be a deception or some under the table deal involved!

"Platform screens doors". Something that the TTC and Metrolinx will forbid on orders of the penny-pinching politicians who don't use public transit.
The Ontario Line has been heavily suggested to have PSDs. We will have to wait and see.
I should note that calling out the TTC and Metrolinx doesn't add anything to a thread about Montreal...

Is there any discussion on the way forward w.r.t. the litigation with the owners of Galeries D'Anjou for expropriation of property for station construction?
The provincial legislation to accelerate expropriations has been tabled in late September and is now at the committee stage
http://www.assnat.qc.ca/en/travaux-parlementaires/projets-loi/projet-loi-66-42-1.html

I guess it will become law before the end of the year and construction will be able to begin as scheduled in 2021

Update. As per JdeM, Quebec's law to accelerate (180) infrastructure projects has just been adopted.

Land/property owners will no longer be able to challenge their expropriation in courts, only the compensation amount.

Eastern expansion of the REM will be announced tomorrow. 20+ new stations.

Reportedly, it will run on an above ground structure from downtown to Pointe-aux-Trembles along Notre-Dame, Dickson and Souligny and Sherbrooke.

The northern branch will be partially underground following Dickson, and Lacordaire all the way to Cegep Marie-Victorin.

The downtown segment to Gare Centrale will also be on an aerial structure along De Lorimier and René-Lévesque.

What an interesting piece of news.

Just looked this proposal up on a map. Downtown Montreal will have 3 parallel lines - Orange, REM and Green. The northern arm along Dickson could see an interchange with l'Assomption on the green line, the future Jean Talon/Lacordaire station of the blue line and the Saint-Léonard station. The eastern arm does not seem obvious as it moves from Souligny to Sherbrooke. So it could be either Radisson or Honoré-B.

Montreal Could Be Getting A Tram System

https://www.mtlblog.com/en-ca/news/montreal-could-be-getting-a-tram-system

......

- The tram tracks would extend from the downtown, to Montreal North, to the very northern tip of the island. A separate route would link much of the South Shore to the STM yellow line at Longueuil station.
