I find most pictures of Toronto from that decade make downtown look more suburban than Mississauga does today. There was at least as much surface parking lots.

Ah, City Nights posters. Real relics of the pre-alt-weekly/cityblog era...
Although for what they are, said monoliths are elegant enough--definite "street furniture with pretensions" (and it also seems, an early addressing of the flyers-on-poles issue)
A Citroën SM--Very Rare!!
Looking north west from Front St and Market St. The large parking lot is now the Market Square condominium development. That was completed in 1984, so this is late 1970's/very early 80's?
