This section of land has always seemed unfinished, and ripe for development. This can only do good things for this neighbourhood.

Who cares if its five years. This area has been a dump for decades. Good to see real change coming.

I am interested in how this proposal addresses Bloor Street. Will there be retail? There is an opportunity to have a new gateway for St. James Town along Bloor.

I guess I should wait to see renderings, but those towers look extremely bland and boring in the elevations...

I can't believe they are going to add a signalled intersection on that piece of the Bloor Street Raceway. Everyone loves to speed across the Viaduct and tear along up to Sherbourne. Now they will have an added light to slow them down. That's no fun.

Very ambitious indeed. It will definitely change the neighborhood. Wraparound balconies seems to be the trend these days.
I think it will create a nice gateway to downtown to those coming from the DVP to Bloor.

Think of the increase in property taxes that would flow to the City if this gets built to anything like the proposed density. And what a contrast to the ravine across the street. A cluster of tall skinny buildings could look cool. Still, that is a lot of people to land on what is already a very dense neighborhood.

It will be great to see this area developed. It is a gateway for people coming into Toronto from the DVP. The condos should be a landmark with something new and modern. The area is also in desperate need for a new supermarket and retail.
