$975 to KnackI heard that former mayor Don Iveson can't provide an official endorsement because of his current housing role, but apparently he's donated to Knack campaign.

Forwarded by the Cartmell campaign:
I modeled the expenses, as a proportion of totals for the main 4, here:It actually came out today!
Westrich broke my heart with their $10,150 donation to Cartmell's campaign ;-; I can't find the disclosures for Better Edmonton, so for all I know they could have donated another $10,150 to them as well. All for a guy who is so disingenuous that he literally claimed on CBC Radio that the city is "building a bike lane along the yelloehead with a 12-foot high concrete divider." [It's just a shared use path with a new noise wall to replace the old noise wall. And he compared it to an example of "good" active transportation development... the shared path along Terwillegar.]

Lots of other big names too - BILD Edmonton, a bunch of greenfield developers, etc.

If Knack wins this while spending almost nothing (comparatively), I will be highly impressed.
Tried to use AI to break down a full list of non-individual campaign contributors, unsurprisingly the machine that drains lakes to lie to you provided me with inaccurate nonsense. I'll manually do Cartmell's, but note that Walters has 1 organization contributor, Knack has 2, and Mohammed has 7. Cartmell has:

I hadn't thought of that. I bet someone more thorough than I will break it down post-election.I did a quick google search of some of the people donating $1000+ to Cartmell and a lot are realtors or executives within those listed companies, according to their LinkedIn profiles.
Honest question though: How do these companies realistically expect to get a return with a Cartmell mayorship? How might an Edmonton mayor repay these bri -ahem- “donations”?
