never, ever thought the two buildings (HNR and Hermant) were historic.
This city ,who destroyed the real historic buildings before, now really tries to keep some ga*b*ges ...(never know how to make the right decision?)
I would Just demolish the two and ask the great Toronto-born architect living in California to design a supertall masterpiece for this Times Square(or Shibuya Square) of Toronto.

I hope this thing never gets built, what a lost operatunity at a great location to build something iconic. This is just a generic looking average apartment building. Shame on the developer and the city planning dept. for even considering this garbage.
