Toronto style?? We should be so lucky; look at how well it fits in with the neighbouring building; since when did toronto buildings try to fit in with their surroundings?
 
goodboys, yes of course, the "style" of a building is determined entirely by it's context, that's exactly what I was getting at.

And yes, from that rendering, there is a small sliver of glass off to the left side, bestowing upon this building it's vaunted contextuality that you so admire. Gee, two glassy buildings side by each - you're right, I can't think of any examples of this in the city.
 
plus the base of the building matches up with the height of the older building behind it. Which of course there are many examples of in Toronto.
 
It's kind of a stumpy version of a 7 World Trade Center tower sorta thing

...which I suppose is the current corporate fashion. That is, if the SE corners of Yonge + Queen/Richmond/Adelaide were designed now rather than 20 yrs ago...
