"No Mountain Too High" Fundraiser - March 11
Hey UT friends:
I'm co-organizing a fundraiser this Saturday evening and I would love the support!
nomountaintoohigh.ca/
Recent monsoon rains in the Philippines triggered a massive landslide on February 17 in the village of Guinsaugon. It is estimated that over 1,800 people are either dead or missing. As a response to this crisis, a group of volunteer Filipino Canadian youth is combining skills, resources and desires in planning a fundraising benefit concert/art show.
With the support of talented young Filipino artists we are holding a benefit concert:
DATE: Saturday March 11, 2006
PLACE: The Filipino Centre, Toronto
597 Parliament St. (just South of Wellesley)
TIME: Art Show & Hors D'oeurves @ 7:00 pm
Concert @ 8:00 pm
PRICE: $15
All funds raised will go directly towards the Canadian Red Cross relief effort to help the victims of the Philippine Landslides.
