Finally it's official: Joe Biden is the next president of the US.
It is a massive relief that we're rid of the sociopath.
Let's hope this happens so that Biden will actually be able to implement some progressive proposals.
If you believe the Fox News poll, a government run healthcare plan is wildly popular. Both the Democrats and Republicans are against it, though.He won't be able to implement them as they are he will have to scale them back which could upset some of the base.
They might want to, but I doubt their base will let them taken as a whole. It might be more useful getting individual Rs (particularly those who are are beholden to the Trumpists) to break rank

And, nothing wrong with that. We'd be back to bills being passed with 66-34 support or whatever, rather than strict D-R partisan divides.
The issue is this was not a good election for the Dems many ideas they had won't happen now.
