I am 1+ Den as well, but my occupancy isn't until April, so I assume I won't have my PDI until March.

I don't move in until April also with the 1+den..so I can't wait to see the pictures..Thanks again Layla..I've also seen a few units up for sale on the web, I guess we had some investors buying.

Here are pictures from a rental ad on Craigslist - http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-real-est...-Lolita-Garden-Mississauga-W0QQAdIdZ457120071

It's a one bedroom unit with some upgrades. Looks like the people I will be sharing a balcony with...I hope they get good tenants

The backsplash and bedroom sink are nice upgrades. Don't know why the washer/dryer are so far up compared to mine, which were set back in the closet.

I can't tell if thats the laminate I chose, two of them look similar to that. Hope it looks better in person haha.

Man, that stick covering the gap in the cabinet behind the sink looks so awful, god they are cheap. I can understand a 2 part piece of wood on the cupboard side, but the side facing the living room should be one piece without that ugly gap.

This is a sample of the model room. I am just testing the image upload for Tuesday's upload.

The floors look like the one posted above in layla's photo. You can tell the photographer used the flash on his camera which made everything seem bright.

The cover on the gap doesn't bother me at all haha. Maybe ask them about it during the PDI and see if they can come up with a solution??

If its the floor as in that model suite, then I am happy with it.

I doubt there is much they can do about it at this point. I do think they could have hidden it a little bit better with something a little less pronounced and visible looking.

I noticed in the bathroom there is no hardware anywhere. Toilet paper holder, towel bar, shower curtain bar. Are they not installing any of these things? (doesn't really matter to me as I am sure I would have replaced whatever standard junk they stuck in anyways)

I really hate the lights in the living room. I am just so surprised they didn't give a nice one. Definately going to change them. I already found a nice one for $110.00.

The standard ceiling lights don't surprise me, builders never seem to give great looking standard ones. The bathroom light fixture above the mirror is horrible, definitely need to replace that one.

I really enjoyed my visit.

The bathroom will have the rods, before move-in. They will ask us if we want to use the standard or leave it empty if we plan to replace it.

The kitchen looks better in real life. Cost me $790 for the upgrades. The floors are laminate.

I had to take the stairs, still needs lots of work.

I just did my PDI as well and took photos (2 bedroom Beech model).
Some of the kitchen cabinets had chips/gashes in them, and some of the taping/painting was really half-assed (esp. around doorways). They made note of all the deficiencies.

Otherwise, I'm fairly happy - looks great!
1 month and 6 days to go!
