How much of that 16% is ravines and wild woodlands? Doesn't seem probable that 16% of land is actual usable parkland, designed for hanging around in. Sure, the Don Valley is wonderful and vast, but most of the area doesn't have much daily use to you unless you're a beaver, and it doesn't require much maintenance.

on the contrary, beaver require lots of maintenance. some may argue that beaver is high-maintenance.


sure, everyone thinks beaver is cute but when you add up all the costs, it's probably cheaper to request the services of a fur trapper.

just look at all the trees that have to be wrapped in wire mesh for protection, look at all the trees that are cut down by beavers and end up causing jams in the river. there is nothing worse than a log jam releasing and causing a flood.


and don't even get me started on all those loose goose, crapping everywhere, polluting our rivers and beaches.
