I don't know, I think isn't that bad. That road is pretty busy and in this case creates a decent buffer for pedestrians.

Since they kept the majority of the old Brick building that wouldn't be feasible, unless they demoed the entire thing and built new.

A station would be nice, but I think it was a compromise because the local residents opposed the removal of the old trees there. I think it looks nice. Not as good as a station, but not a bad alternative to cutting down the trees either.
