There are bridge segments beings fabricated and stored near the silos off Queens Quay. Are these the PATH segments?

It's either the PATH bridge over simcoe or part of the bridge to the ACC from WPP

I suspect it's the latter.

Was around the ACC yesterday and got these shots of the new PATH pillars up on the south side.

These were from earlier in the week, shots of the North West Path portal.

Not that I have found.

In the last picture, it seems like they've started building a portal to the west of the new PATH entrance, as if it would lead to a tunnel under York st. Does anyone know where this tunnel would lead?

I think it initially pops out of the ground in front of 1 University avenue then will eventually head up York Street.

Yes - Phase I is to the NW corner of Front and York - Phase II is up York to Wellington. I *think* both phases are now funded.

Thanks but I actually meant something else. I looked up the PATH map, and turns out I was referring to the moat<>Citibank Place connection. Notice the grey steel pillars that will eventually become doors.

The Citibank Place connection has been there for years. It's just been closed during reconstruction on the Union Station side.

Thanks for finding that.

It begs the question whether or not the PATH extensions should all be in one thread or should each get their own thread like the Northwest PATH Expansion. We are rethinking the way threads are split up right now, BTW, and looking for ways to make it easier to navigate to them all. The Transportation & Infrastructure section is a poorly structured and congested mess in particular.

I spend more time in the T & I section than anywhere else and if I had a suggestion it would be a sub-folder system.

EG....into the forum the first thing you would see is GO Transit...click on that and there would be forums about various GO stuf....Muniicpal Transit systems ...ditto you would go in there and it would branch to TTC/MT/etc......I think it might also limit the number of times duplicate threads are set up.
