I was driving through the Pleasant View area recently and noticed a street called Lucifer Drive as I drove along Van Horne. Does anyone have an inkling of how/why this one-block street by the Pleasant View community centre?

"Lucifer" is a legitimate name; and they presumably weren't so hung up on avoiding Satanic associations in the 1960s, or whenever the street was named

Sufferance Road was also a legitimate name... but someone decided to change the name to 'Village Green Square'

Ironically, 'Village Green Square' somehow sounds more suitable for the area around Pleasant View!!

Maybe it was a kind of "OMB folly" equivalent of its time.

they can always rename it light bearer drive, morning star drive or venus drive.

they should just rename it "king" or "queen" street!
