This scene is that of the eastbound lanes westerly view, King Street Subway, aka CPR bridge. Previous to the

increase in depth of the roadway, the northern westbound portal to the right, and it's corresponding exit, were

infamous for the "peeling back" of the roofs of tractor trailers; LOW BRIDGE! About where the TTC 'car is in the

above pic, something even more of a disaster happened. Due to the angle of take-down, the trailer was forced to

it's right, almost tipping over, with the tractor still coupled and was somewhat common in frequencey.

Another "accident waiting to happen" bridge was on Royal York Road, fka Church Street, Mimico, CNR Mainline.
