sorry to bring up year old photos, but this angle would make for a great replacement to the postcard view from the island that has been sterilized. the renovations to BMO field make it fit like the rogers centre did in the past

It's just so sad to think that Hard Rock will be replaced with Shoppers Drug Mark signage. Talk about killing a corner. Not that Hard Rock was great or anything but damn, it's better than a pharmacy!

Some photos from a recent trip to the Toronto Islands. There are some interesting photo opportunities from the beach at Hanlan's Point, particularly with longer lenses. It's almost like you're on the runway at Billy Bishop--the fence separating the airport from the park is quite close to the runway. I was also pleasantly surprised that some of the fowl at the zoo wander around the public walkways of the zoo.
