Renaming it to a title might be okay. Others could be Lieutenant-Governor Street, Mayor Street, Premier Street, Prime Minister Street, Peasant Street, Commenter Street, Blogger Street, Trucker Street (maybe not that one after today), etc. We already have a Queen Street and King Street .

It is probably more helpful for all to avoid any discussion on this subject as if it were about history. It seems that some pretty heavyweight historians (do we not have any left in Canada?) have weighed in on the Edinburgh, Scotland review and called the distortion of history out for the nonsense that it is.

Renaming the street is less about history, and more about societal therapy. Maybe if we set up something that makes us all feel good about ourselves we can move forward as a society. The right can give the woke left a poke, the woke left can condescend the right. Everyone is a winner.
