They are installing the glass for the feature stairs.

Does this feature on the north side have a purpose?

Very nice pics current!! I really like the dexia logo, it's just big enough. I have no idea what the thing on the north side is though. Oh, well, it looks cool =D

Surely the stairs are the fire escape so I think it best they aren't temporary.

Not 100% sure, but I suspect they are frames for brise soleil - sunshades. Though it's a bit odd for them to be on the north side.

Yep, those are louvres, they're also going on the west elevation if i remember correctly.

now i'm assuming those stairs are the fire escape, right? it's strange how the architects chose to even have those exposed through the glass. i mean, cross your fingers, let's hope there's not much activity going on there. plus it's just exposed concrete.

could you imagine if there was a fire? it would fe one of the first buildings in toronto where you could actually sit (in the park) and watch people flee for their lives!

I gotta say this building is turning out to be pretty spectacular! The quality of the materials, plus the mixture of textures, finishes and colors is really well done.

Everyone is talking about the Dexia logo.How about the Bank of America logo and sign,Whats up with that?Anyways the signage looks good.
