Le Saint Tropez on King, just west of University has closed. Saw the signs on the way to my barre class this morning.
 
In June Fahrenheit Cafe is expanding to Adelaide and Portland street, one block away from Jimmy's, but on a completely different quality scale.

I'm stoked since this is my favourite espresso bar in the city. If you haven't been yet, their origonal location is at Jarvis and Lombard.

Cortado or GTFO.
 
Everyone with a brain in their head knows that the best rotisserie chicken is at Chalet BBQ on Sherbrooke in Westmount. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Quebec does have a certain style. You can essentially the same chicken and sauce at a number of other places.

I was speaking in "big chain debate" sense....like all foods, there are small niche guys in a variety of places that do it better.
