Momofuku at the Shangri-La is expected to be closing. There's speculation that it may remain until after the Christmas Holidays. And then a new restaurant tenant, Mott 32, should takeover the space in the new year for a Spring 2023 opening:

Fond memories of Oliver's Bistro, on Yonge north of Eglinton.

First one of his places I visited. I was still a teen, went w/mom.

I remember the basket of rolls that the wait staff came around with, from which you could could choose whatever type you wished; whipped butter, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a wonderful
steak n' caesar.

Yes, I a few weeks back I was on Victoria and was stunned to see the Senator open again. Not sure how a business manages to survive a 2 year shut down...

I was also surprised. I actually went on Yelp after a year and put it as permanently closed thinking it was gone for good.

I found the owners to be a little overly paranoid about the covid situation. They seemed to be waiting until Covid was completely gone before reopening which was bizarre. While everything else was reopening they were still living under a rock using covid as an excuse for not reopening.
