Personally I love the colour. I wouldn't want an entire cluster of these, but every now and then, something with colour is great.

I'd give a thumps up for accolade. Any suburban condo that actually trys to be more than an economic housing block is a positive thing in this city. - ice

There will always be the more consrevative types and the old fuddy-duddies, who hate colour and anything that stands out from our mostly bland buildings but I hope that doesn't stop builders from pushing the envelope and building some colourful, creative, original buildings.

The colour doesn't matter. The fact these towers are 2/3rds spandrel shows laziness on the architect's part. To me, these fake windows on these condos represent an afterthought; a compromise to interior layout. The spandrel at least is a feature on the YWCA building although I think I would have preferred random to alternating. It is still spandrel though.
