Was near this at the ground level coming in from the Simons entrance at Rideau the other day. This is looking more massive than it is at a glance. Much longer, so even if it's not super tall, it's going to add a bunch to the area. I hope they can use some of those remaining lots to start filling up that area, it's a bit of a canton but it would be huge to have more buildings around the area with street retail.

Might not be a bad thing, might look real sharp, like Soho Italia. At least it doesn't seem like they've cheated on amount of glass as most projects usually does.

Agreed, the lighter cladding usually looks great in renderings but in Ottawa it never ends up looking that good in reality (AC Marriott, claridge icon, the Beckett etc.).
