A proper freeway to freeway connection between Detroit and Windsor is long overdue and I'm so happy to this gap closed.
 
Happy to finally see this incredible milestone achieved. Also proud to say that I was lucky enough to have been involved in a handful of small parts of this project over the years.

Lot more up on my site for both side of the river.

A gavel company has taken over the Canadian site I used to shoot from and did a quick in/out to get a couple of shots. The clouds did not help for shooting until I was leaving Detroit as well running 4 hours behind schedule.

The Canadian inspection and toll area far advance than the US one. Lots of work still on going for I-75

Looking forward to this opening. Definitely still seems ahead of schedule. I struggle to see how this is going to take another 10 months to open. I would bet we see it open early summer.
