Once the work around Deerfoot and Anderson completes, Calgary won't have much going on in terms of road construction. Probably the least amount since the early 2000s
I think 194th Ave and Macleod Trail interchange will start sooner than later.

After that, money money would be on the the interchanges on Airport trail.
 
^ As in modifying the existing interchanges at 19th St. & Barlow or constructing new interchanges east of the runway tunnel on Airport Trail ?
I would think they'd build new interchanges on 36th street, Barlow trail and 60th. Especially with the 88th Ave LRT extension happening.

I'm wondering if these might be dependent on the provinces rail plan too?

If a greenfield HSR route is going to be used, heading east of the city before heading north could avoid a lot of obstacles.
