It seems to me that, instead of trying to wedge a flyover in at 80th Avenue, they should just complete the Airport Trail interchange?

Does anyone know what is going on at Airport Trail and 19th St NE? A decent amount of earth has been moved around that intersection. It almost looks as if it's getting upgraded to an interchange..

Theres an interchange being built at 19th St and one at Barlow. Airport Trail will be making real use of the tunnel before long too as part of the project involves extending it straight through to Stoney.
