Do people think that Ford had inside knowledge that a video leak - either to the media or youtube/liveleak - was imminent? It was such a sudden admission that no one saw coming.

From here on out, it is my gut feeling that the Ford brothers' ultimate fate will depend entirely on Sandro Lisi and whether or not TPS can get him to flip. Now that details are starting to trickle out more, I'm betting that Hashimi has already agreed on pointing the finger at Lisi.
I am intrigued to see what the Star reports vis-a-vis the Vice story. There are a TON of very intriguing developments in that story.

The Vice article said that he (Massoudi) tried to get drugs from the hacker, as an aside. And even the hacker had better judgement than on e of Ford's staff, by saying: do you really think this is the time or place to be asking me to get you drugs?

No, it was because of the Vice story. Vice contacted the Fords for comment before they ran it, so they knew it was going to come out.
