What is that last hanger in the closet that Rob is referring too?

So far the allegations are:
1) Smokes crack.
2) Smokes marijuana possibly while working or at workplace
3) Drinks too much, possibly at work
4) Sexually harasses staff and others
5) Physically assaults staff
6) possibly drink drives
7) possibly does cocaine
7) possibly uses escorts
8) has staff do liquor runs for him
9) has staff do "personal assistant" type jobs for him, i.e babysit, buy things for him, etc
10) had a friend with criminal record get a job as high school football coach by using a false name to pass police background check
11) offers random women whom he smoked marijuana with outside a bar a job with the city.
12) Attends functions as mayor while inebriated
13) Lies to the public, lies to the police. [i.e the Toronto Sun reporter "car chase", etc]
14) Turns out the the garbage contract was given out to a company whose owner donated to his campaign [source: http://www.torontolife.com/informer/features/2012/01/31/qa-patrick-dovigi/] as well as fraternizing with owner of the holding company. Not illegal or wrong, but seems fishy: they offered lowest bid, but now they are suing to get paid more.
15) hangs out with criminals and bought illicit drugs while mayor, yet he says he has zero tolerance for drug and gun crime.
16) Uses his position as mayor to get special treatment: i.e try to visit prisoner after hours, asking police to do a license plate check.
17) comes to work late, leaves early.

That's all I can think of so far. How much worse can this get?

The above information was reported in the media, or documented in the ITO or admitted by the mayor or alleged by city of Toronto staff or the mayor's associates. I take no ownership on the veracity of these claims....I don't want to be sued.

Just came across my Twitter:

Anyone can file a complaint to the Integrity Commissioner. Here's the link to information on how to do so: HERE

Did Mel Lastman ever admit to copying this catch-phrase from an auto dealership? I grew up in the town of Dryden, in northwestern Ontario. In the 1960s and early 1970 a local dealership called Scumerough Motors (spelling?) aired a series of TV commercials that all ended with the phrase "Who has better prices than Scumerough Motors... nooooobody!" using the exact same intonation and pitch of voice as the much later Bad Boy advertisements. This was copied in the 1970s and 1980s by a Winnipeg auto dealership that used the same phrase but with their dealership name instead, and finally by Bad Boy Furniture in the 1990s. I would always shake my head when I heard the Bad Boy advertisements, remembering the nearly identical phrase used by Scumerough Motors several decades earlier.

Lastman's Bad Boy Furniture existed in the 1950s, and I believe died off in the 70's when Lastman decided to run as an MPP. It was resurrected by Lastman's (non-bastard) son Blaine in 1991. Not sure if the phrase existed during Bad Boy's first time around, but I wouldn't doubt if it did. It's pretty generic statement that I'm willing to bet it's been around a lot longer than that.

Damn, and now the limo driver brings in Jackie Treehorn, and there is pussy eating going on and sure to be porno.

And with the "here", Robbie yesterday tried to pull I never got drunk....atthe ACC again" bit, so who can guess.

Is anyone else's head hurting?

Yup, pure f'ing mindgames.

Anyone point out to Mssrs Ford that, while indeed the City is operating quite well (potholes being filled, construction on going, the lights are on), that private businesses are probably suffering because everyone's glued to this sh*t show?

I'm really, really wondering how this is going to play out for TPS now. These new revelations show that Ford was likely driving while extremely drunk on numerous occasions, while under surveillance. The outcry seems to be gathering steam quickly---a lot of people are now questioning why they didn't step in.

Are there any legal people here?
Can Rob even sue? These statements are all coming from police interviews within an ongoing investigation.... I'm confused.

I wish passive, enduring truth were actually able to destroy lies and sway public opinion, but it does not; Any multitude of organized religions around the world, climate change deniers and anti-science groups prove that. People will always *want* to believe in lies that soothe and comfort and give a false sense of empowerment, over cold, bitter truth. That is human nature.

Truth requires playing by a set of social and ethical rules, and thus is limited in its reach and ability to sway. You must fight to reveal the truth, it cannot sit around languidly waiting to be discovered. Or by the time it finally gets dusted off, too many minds have already been set in stone. This is the whole reason that journalism exists, and why those who have an agenda set in lies always attack the press first.
This why we have terriers. They flush the rats out with alacrity. Good journalists are the same.

Cllr Mammoliti says he will spend all day today trying to convince the mayor to admit he has a problem.

can't tell if Mammo is a troll or serious :p

But give a parks staff with his head on a desk a chance to explain himself? Mamo is so full of shit. A camera-hogging waste of space.
