There's some sort of sick fascination with Ford if we're still talking about him. With Tory, Socknacki, Stintz and eventually Chow, why is this guy still getting any airtime? lol.

Everyone can't look away- it's a combination of that innate curiosity that makes people stare at disasters and also a desire to know what else the Fords have to say, who are like vaults that are open and constantly talking.

On a side note, would there ever be an issue raised about Doug's role as both councillor and campaign manager for Rob's campaign?

As much as we'd like to think he wasn't, he is still mayor if this city, and enjoys a pretty hefty amount of support.

I think it's priceless that there isn't a credible competent campaign manager willing to take on managing the train wreck of a mayor. I'm sure there has to be somebody somewhere who would want to make a name for themselves in the odd chance they could manage Rofo to an election win - but at the same time who wants that kind of blood/bad karma on their hands inflicting that much pain on the city?

Staggering. So Dale was screaming? Really? And he does press conferences every day or two? Also, do people really workout daily? I don't, but I always thought you had to take days off in between or at least once a week. Not that I believe that he works out every day...

What really struck me was the jealousy of John Tory, and the respect he commands from the press. Doug thinks Rob and John Tory are both candidates and the press should treat them the same. The last year hasn't happened, so let's move on already, let's talk "policy", not my drug use, homophobia, etc. Did they really think during campaigning time this wasn't going to be mentioned because he apologized? WOW!
