It still seems weird to just abandon your car on some side street, and then go missing for months. How long was she missing before the FB page showed up? If a person is a regular user of FB and they move to Thailand, there should be a lot of communication going on. My daughter has friends teaching in Korea and China, and they keep in touch regularly.

Would anyone really be surprised if Rob's personal finances were as much a disaster as the rest of his life? Racing around to find one more payday loan would be par for the course.

That post is from April 27th. The "having no friends" thing could be explained by having really high privacy settings, couldn't it? Maybe she does a lot on her fb, and we just can't see it. Or if it is a fake profile, the people are doing a good job of randomly making it seem active.

I'm just going to quote myself here because it seems to have gotten missed. Jaclyn Dawe is liking things and viewing things in groups on facebook on multiple dates. That would be true dedication if someone were faking her account. I think her fb profile is real, it's just got some heavy privacy settings hence why you can't see her friends list, or her wall.

Which, if true, how can a man such as that take care of the finances of a city?

It's a rhetorical question.

A mayor in self-imposed exile, fighting ( he says ) his addiction(s) might be a tempting target to potential gold-diggers, free-lance bodyguards and other celebrity hounds. Especially those who happen to carry recording devices around with them.

Sort of like a big, juicy, soft and sweet sugar-daddy. A walking ATM machine.

Pedantic carpenter says: "Plankman" is wielding a 3x3 (planks are wide). It was used as dunnage under a lift of lumber. You can tell from the long shallow groove where steel banding crushed the wood fibers.

I'm sure some are scumbags (like Rob), but unfortunately for some poor people in this city, they need to use them to stay afloat. They prey on the most vulnerable, they should be banned.

Is it clear that Rob was actually inside the Moneymart doing business, or was he just photographed outside it?
